RADIOS FOR FOOD AMARC celebrates the World Food Day. Global call for productions

[:en]AMARC, World association of Community Radio Broadcasters, calls on all its members to make our voice heard, and raise the volume of our radios against hunger and for food security. According to Emmanuel Boutterin, AMARC President “Achieving food security for all is at the heart of FAO’s efforts, meaning that women and men have regular access to good quality food. AMARC shares three objectives with this important UN agency: addressing hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition, eradicate poverty and promote social progress for all, and manage natural resources in a sustainable way. AMARC’s four thousand community radio members have been with United Nations agencies for a longtime, and they mobilise all their forces every day in a large educational and information effort to support rural populations in more than 80 countries. Can communication save lives? We believe it can, and we are the front-line”.[:]
